The environment

LIPSA is committed to the development of industrial activity with full respect for the social and natural environment, and aims to reach the highest possible safety levels in the running of our facilities and in the protection of the environment, ensuring the safety of staff, customers and nearby population.

Commitment

Waste management

95% of waste generated is reused for compost.

Atmospheric emissions

Our emissions are controlled according to the legislation: Law: 319/1998 of 15  December on limits of atmospheric emissions from combustion plants, with thermal power inferior to 50 Mw and cogeneration plants.

Liquid Waste

LIPSA has its own treatment plant connected to the industrial waste liquid collector, compliant with the rules established by the Consortium for the Defence of the Besos River.
